5 Ways to Style a Throw Blanket
It’s finally feeling like fall and it’s the perfect time to snuggle up on your sofa with a soft and warm throw blanket. You might like to have more than a couple of throw blankets handy so there’s enough to go around for the whole family or if you have guests over. Store your blankets in a large woven basket, drape them over the sofa, or on a blanket ladder. Here are 5 stylish ways to style a throw blanket.Â
Storage Basket
Roll up several throws and store them in a woven storage basket next to the sofa for easy access. You can also drape the corner of one of the throw blankets over the edge of the basket for a more casual look.Â
Draped over the sofa arm.Â
If you have a small loveseat or apartment size sofa and one big throw blanket, you can fold and drape your throw over the sofa arm or back. Displaying your throw on your sofa also adds color and texture to the space.Â
Folded and on the corner of the sofa.
For a more clean and tidy look, fold your blanket and keep it neatly tucked away in the corner of your sofa. You can place it underneath one of your toss pillows or roll it tightly and keep it next to the sofa arm.Â
Throw a blanket at the edge of the bed.Â
If you don’t want to store your throw blankets in the living room, you can also keep them on top of your bed – or each bed in the house. Fold your blanket lengthwise and hang it over the foot of the bed.Â
Blanket ladder.Â
If you have several throw blankets and would like to also use them as part of your decoration, hang them neatly on a blanket ladder. Blanket ladders come in various styles and sizes. They’re a great way to display your throw blankets, adding more color and texture to your decor.
