Spruce Up Your Outdoor Furniture:

Re-vamp your outdoor furniture by adding new accessories. Even if it’s just replacing old throw pillows, you’ll be surprised what a difference it makes! Put new candles in your hurricane lanterns or add a few more to create a modern boho look. Layer outdoor rugs for a cozier outdoor environment.

Tip: Sprinkle a couple throw blankets throughout your outdoor dining area. Guests will love that they can cozy up underneath the stars.

Grow Vegetables in a Raised Garden Bed:

Growing vegetables is always a fun project, especially when it’s time to pick the vegetables and grill them during your next outdoor BBQ! Build a raised garden bed with rot-resistant lumber.

Tip: Customize the height of the bed, so it’s easy for you to reach without breaking your back or roughing up your knees.

grilling station

Prep Your Grilling Station & Alfresco Bar Cart:

It’s difficult to have a smooth sailing BBQ party when you haven’t properly prepped your grilling station. Pre-prep your station and bar cart with the basic grilling tools, mini fire extinguisher, and makeshift garbage disposal.

Tip: A folding potting bench can be turned into a food-prep station and can also store all your handy BBQ tools.

Outdoor lighting

Hang Outdoor Lights & Install Landscape Lighting:

Outdoor lighting creates a twinkling ambiance for all your outdoor summer parties. Also adding landscape lighting illuminates your backyard and provides safety.

Tip: Use LED lighting systems, they’re bright, long lasting, and energy efficient.

Compost

Build a Compost Bin:

For all you gardeners out there, if you haven’t done this already you need to get on this compost band wagon! Nothing feeds your plants better than compost. You can purchase a compost bin or customize your own to blend better with your back yard.

Tip: Assembling your own cedar bin will hide the yard clippings and kitchen leftovers.
